Coir Matting
Coir matting, otherwise known as coconut matting, has been traditionally used as a boot wipe and is ideal to either sink in a well (therefore sitting flush with the natural level of the surrounding floor) or to sit on top of existing floor. Made from coconut, once soaked, beaten and woven into intricate patterns, Coir matting is used more and more these days to cover whole floors. Extremely hard wearing, this flooring has to be one of the greenest types of flooring on the market.
