The Cross Keys is a 400 year old National Trust Temperance Inn. We have a small farmhouse style
restaurant where we serve daytime meals and evening meals. All our food is home cooked and usually prepared using fresh local produce. Because we are a Temperance Inn we cannot sell you any alcohol. However you are most welcome to bring along the drinks of your choice.

The Greyhound Inn, Bedale
The Greyhound Inn is a charming country coaching inn occupying a scenic location in a quiet village a couple of miles north of the A684 (Bedale to Leyburn road) and a mile and a half west of the A1 just south of Catterick.
Once a farmhouse, built between 1710 and 1720, it was later an alehouse and then a coaching inn, and has always been known throughout history as The Greyhound.
